Congratulations to the powerlifting team who won the 2023 Powerlifting America Female Equipped National Championship.  The team consisted of Abbey Kelley (3rd), Brooke Stroik (2nd), Leah Frenkel (3rd), Elle Kroll (2nd), Emily Mohs (2nd), Julia Sina (3rd), Zoe Schneider (5th), Avery Dunalp (2nd), Leslie Lemnaczyk (3rd), and National Champion MacKenzie Wells. It was a close race all weekend for the team against Covington High School (Louisiana) and the championship came down to the 84kg class with MacKenzie against a Covington High School lifter.  Whoever won the weight class, won the National Championship for the team.  Through MacKenzie's 8 for 9 performance, she easily secured first place by nearly 61 pounds.  It was a fantastic performance that helped the team secure the 2023 National Championship; their second in two years.

Beyond the team's fantastic performance in the Female Equipped Varsity category, the team performed phenomenally all weekend long, including a second National Champion in Lydia Pederson who competed in the JV Female Raw category.  The team sent 18 additional lifters to the event and they are listed below.

Congratulations on a fantastic end to your season GTown Power!!
